Uinta Lanes is our third Harvest Hosts site and it is totally different than the others. First, it is a small bowling alley, boasting twelve lanes, a full restaurant and adult beverage service located in Evanston, WY.
As with most Harvest Hosts sites, there are no hookups, but there are no restrictions on use of your generator and there is plenty of room to let your slides out and enjoy their view at the back of the gravel lot.
We ordered dinner from their menu and while I expected to pick the food up after we set up, we were pleasantly surprised when the manager (assistant?) delivered the food to our door. It was piping hot and smelled wonderful. He told us to take our time and we could come pay after we had eaten and finished setting up.
You might expect a bowling alley to be a noisy place, but honestly, it was very quiet. We were parked near the back of the building and their bowling customers parked in front. It felt safe, and no one disturbed us. There really isn’t a lot more to say, except that we enjoyed the cool breeze and mountain views outside our fifth wheel while we ate our dinner. Would we stay there again if in the area? Absolutely! Uinta Lanes was very hospitable to us, we rested well, had good food and a beautiful view and quite honestly, there aren’t many Harvest Hosts up that way, so we were very satisfied with our choice of hosts for the night.
