Coe Landing is off the beaten path a bit but still close to town. We read a review of someone stating they could hear the traffic noise, but honestly, we’re not sure how. It was a very quiet and picturesque campground sitting right on the Ochlockonee River.
The campground was small and a bit tight to get into with our rig, but once we found our site it was pretty easy to back into and really easy to drive out the following morning.
Coe Landing offers 30 amp electric, water (no sewer) dump station, patio and clean bath house. The park is clean and sites well kept. We even had a morning wake-up call from the local rooster roaming the campground! It was a nice little campground and Dave and I agree that the only thing that would keep us from coming back is the size of our camper. If you have something a bit smaller 30′ or less, it would be a piece of cake and a sweet deal at $27 a night. The internet and phone reception (AT&T) was good also. Coe Landing is a County RV Park, so you must go through Leon County to reserve a spot. The web address is below.
We give Coe Landing Campground 4.5 stars simply because the entry and campground road was so tight. If you are in Tallahassee and need a quiet and fair priced place to stay, check out Coe Landing, but bring the small RV!
